Sock blockers have previously only been available offshore at great expense.  We are exclusive stockists of Nelly's Needle Food Sock Blockers and we think you'll love them.

Also ideal for displaying your work, the wood is a warm organic alternative.

Made in New Zealand by patient workers of wood who know what we like and how to achieve the best results for our socks.  They understand our obsession and it shows.

Nelly's sock blockers are made from sturdy ply - they have a lovely honey grain, are laminated for strength and have a water-resistant finish to ensure they last through many uses.

And we mustn't forget our mascot Nelly, atop each blocker, patiently watching over your creation as it dries.

Available in three sizes, each blocker is sold individually.  If you'd like a pair, you'll need to order two!  For gift knitting, it is wise to have a full set on hand.

Basic blocking instructions - Soak your completed socks (Soak is an excellent product for this as it requires no rinsing and cares for the fibres).  Rinse if required, roll in a towel to absorb additional moisture then pull sock onto appropriately-sized sock blocker.  Allow to dry. 

Sizes -

Small for women's sizes 5-7 NZ (men's sizes 4.5-6.5) (22.5cm/9" from toe to heel)

Medium for women's sizes 7.5-9 NZ (men's sizes 7-8.5) (25.5cm/10 1/4" toe to heel)

Large for women's sizes 10+ NZ (men's sizes 10+) (27.5cm/11" toe to heel)
